Every fee Amazon takes from UK sellers, including the digital services fee and VAT, for FBA or your own delivery.
Find your exact FBA fee in Seller Central or Amazon's Revenue Calculator. It depends on the item's size and weight.
Amazon's commission on each sale, worked out on the total the buyer pays including any delivery charge. Most categories are 15%, Computers and Consumer Electronics are 7%, and several categories have cheaper rates for low-priced items: Home Products are 8% up to £20, and Beauty, Baby and Grocery have low rates up to £10. In most categories the minimum is 25p per item.
If you're based in the UK, Amazon adds 2% on top of its referral fees, closing fees and FBA fees for sales on Amazon.co.uk, to pass on the UK Digital Services Tax. From 20 March 2026 it's 3% for sales in Amazon's France, Italy and Spain stores.
Amazon charges UK-established sellers 20% VAT on its fees. If you're VAT-registered you can reclaim it, but you'll account for VAT on your own sales instead. This calculator handles both.
Fulfilment by Amazon fees depend on your item's packaged size and weight, from small envelopes up to oversize. From 2 November 2026 Amazon adds a 2% fuel and logistics surcharge (previously 1.5%). Storage is charged monthly by volume: £0.76 per cubic foot from January to September and £1.51 from October to December for most items.
Individual sellers pay 75p per item sold, while Professional costs £25 a month excluding VAT. Above about 33 sales a month, Professional is cheaper. It's also needed for advertising and the Buy Box in most cases.
Advertising, returns processing, inbound placement fees, long-term storage, removal fees and promotions. These vary a lot by product, so check your Seller Central reports.
